Applied Psychology Collaborative Community

 

 

Welcome!
The Applied Psychology Collaborative Community is a local Industrial-Organizational Psychology group affiliated with the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), a professional association. We consider ourselves a local group with a national footprint. 

 

We meet the last Wednesday of every month (except December) from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Arizona time. Bring your lunch and come learn with us!

This community is designed to bring practitioners, academics, and students together into a learning community that will enhance the practice of industrial and organizational psychology. 

We accomplish this through:

  • Monthly professional development 'practice' opportunities

  • Sharing best practices with each other

  • Networking with other professionals with similar interests

  • Providing actionable insights that drive positive change in organizations

Complimentary membership in this community is open to anyone who may be interested in the betterment of organizations. This includes I/O practitioners, students, and professionals across a wide range of disciplines.

Membership provides access to I/O tools and information, an invitation to the monthly Zoom calls, and participation on our LinkedIn Community sharing page.

In a little over an hour, our community members provide our guests with solutions to a business challenge that they present through a unique format:
  • The guests presents the challenge to the group
  • Questions from the group to clarify the challenge
  • Group discusses possible solutions
  • Group presents solutions to the guest
